The Ersa IR 500 A rework station is a complete solution for soldering and desoldering a wide range of components, such as SMD, fine-pitch, BGA or MicroBGAs. The patented aperture system doesn’t demand the use of nozzles or stencils for the various components. The use of dark IR radiators avoids overheating. The capability of connecting up to 3 soldering irons and 2 desoldering tools offer high flexibility for practically any application. The PL 500 A is the perfect combination with the IR 500 A and allows for precise placement. The ball-bearing PCB holder guarantees exact placement free of vibration and jerking during movement. The PCB can be transferred from placement to repair without having to retool. The micrometer table carries out the fine adjustment of the PCB to the component pins with XY axis settings. Two colored-lighting for the PCB and component pins in combination with the integrated camera assists in the visualization of the placement process when seen on a separate monitor.The simultaneous view of PCBand component connections provide for additional control when placing a component.
