Nordson’s Easy Coat for Windows NT (ECNT) software was specifically developed for the Century conformal coating system. With ECNT, a user can quickly and easily program any required complex coating process within a few minutes, whereby multiple coating instruction commands are edited simultaneously to minimize time and subsequent pattern changes. This can be done on the factory floor or off-line. All system activity is recorded in a log file, which captures, among others, start and run time, and the average cycle time. The user can configure this activity log to report periodic events such as idle time, purge time and cleaning brush time for process analysis. It provides a SMEMA-compatible interface with barcode and laser teach tool features. This allows for pallet identification. Various levels of software access ensure that process routines are protected against accidental modifications. ws
