Dispense robot

Techcon S3030 is a cost effective and flexible entry-level dispensing robot that allows users to upgrade and replace manual work with a faster and higher quality alternative. It is particularly suited for environments using smaller challenging components to apply fluid materials, including fully contoured beads and high-precision dots. When combined with Techcon’s precision dispense valves, it can be easily customized to meet the needs of almost any application. The unit features a 300 x 300mm work area that comprises of a sturdy XY table and overhead Z-axis gantry arrangement to ensure maximum accuracy and repeatability. It also has a small footprint to ease integration. The three axes are driven by a closed-loop, servo stepper motor, capable of a resolution of ±75µm and a repeatability of ±25µm (±1mil). This includes being able to dispense perfectly shaped 250µm dots of adhesive or solder paste at speeds of five or more dots per second. The TS3030 also features a large conventional XY dispensing machine, while its flexible, modular design allows users to add only the function needed, as and when required, without having to pay for those they don’t. Feature options include vision alignment, automatic height sensing and rotary valve controllers. It also offers a Windows-based operating system, running from an external PC and exploiting intuitive on-screen pro-gramming features, including easy-to-use pull-down menus and icons.
