Highly ergonomical microscope system

High light efficiency plus Vision attention to ergonomic detail are the key advantages of the microscope Isis Alpha of Vision Engineering. Expanded pupil eyepieces generate bright, high-resolution images with superior viewability of the outer parts of the optical field – especially in high magnification applications. Standard Isis Alpha optics deliver a zoom magnification range of x6 to x40 with optional boosters permitting a maximum of x160. An enhanced illuminator configuration deploys a spot system comprising of two dichroic lamps with an extended operational life of 600 to 800 hours. Light efficiency adds to the flexibility, with accessories like multipliers and manual or motorized direct/ oblique viewers benefiting from the brighter optical field. The microscope can be fitted to either a bench stand or a boom mount. The ergonomic advantage is the expanded pupil eyepiece technology. These include a four-fold increase in working distance between the operator’s eyes and the Isis Alpha instrument (over conventional stereo microscope eyepieces) to provide much greater freedom of operator head movement. The increased working distance also allows users with corrected vision to continue to wear prescription glasses.
